I run a protein-engineering CRO. Day to day that means directed evolution, deep mutational scanning and AI binder design, and it means sitting on the other side of the exact conversation you are having now: explaining difficult science to a partner, an investor or a customer who has about eight seconds of patience and no background in your field.
Bold48 exists because I kept watching good science lose to worse science with a better website. Not because the buyers are shallow, but because a homepage is the only part of your work most people will ever read, and most life-science homepages are written for someone who already knows the company.
You will not be handed to a junior. There is no junior. You get the person who wrote this page, which is a real constraint on how many projects run at once and the reason there is a price floor.
